Svetlana Grodzitsky, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist providing comprehensive psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological evaluations to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in Fort Lauderdale and Hallandale Beach. With more than 15 years of experience in assessment and diagnostic evaluation, Dr. Grodzitsky is dedicated to helping clients and their families gain clarity about diagnoses, cognitive functioning, and appropriate next steps through thorough, individualized evaluation.
Dr. Grodzitsky earned her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University’s APA-accredited program in 2011, following her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both also from Nova Southeastern University. She is a Florida Licensed Psychologist. Her doctoral training included extensive practicum experience in psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological assessment, and she completed her predoctoral clinical internship at Child Provider Specialists at Miami Children’s Hospital’s Dan Marino Center, focusing on neuropsychological and educational evaluations across preschool through college-age populations.
Dr. Grodzitsky previously served as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at the Center for Precious Minds in Boca Raton since 2019, where she conducted psychological evaluations, including IQ testing, learning disability evaluations, personality and emotional functioning assessments, ADHD evaluations, adaptive functioning evaluations, and autism evaluations, along with full and abbreviated neuropsychological evaluations for the Florida Department of Education’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Earlier in her career, she completed her postdoctoral residency at Positive Solutions Psychological Services in Plantation, Florida, and provided psychological evaluations at Cotler Health Care and Development and Bird of Paradise Psychological Services, working with children, adults, and the geriatric population, including residents in long-term care and individuals seeking Social Security disability benefits. Her clinical interests include ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning and intellectual disabilities, traumatic brain injury, mood and personality disorders, and neurocognitive disorders, and she is proficient in administering, scoring, and interpreting a broad range of psychological and neuropsychological assessment batteries.
Working closely with neurodivergent clients throughout her career has shaped Dr. Grodzitsky into a detail-oriented, adaptable, and deeply empathetic evaluator. She values clear communication and strong collaboration with clients, families, and referring providers, and brings meaningful insight into both the challenges and strengths of the neurodiverse individuals she works with.
Dr. Grodzitsky approaches every evaluation with patience and compassion, taking the time to thoroughly interpret results and tailor her recommendations to each individual’s needs. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, trying new restaurants, going to the beach, and watching movies.
