Latoya Cain, Ph.D., LCSW, is a Postdoctoral Psychologist and licensed therapist with over 8 years of experience in mental health, social services, and the criminal justice system. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), she brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and compassionate care to her work. Cain is extensively trained in diagnosing and treating personality disorders and has a proven track record in crisis intervention, domestic violence cases, and treatment planning. She is deeply committed to helping individuals improve their emotional, behavioral, and cognitive functioning, particularly in cases involving trauma. Her dual qualifications and client-centered approach ensure that each person receives personalized, high-quality care tailored to their unique needs.
Throughout her career, Latoya has gained extensive clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth settings. She has worked with diverse populations, including individuals facing substance abuse, developmental delays, and mental health challenges. Her expertise includes delivering group-based cognitive behavioral therapy, case management, and psychosocial interventions, with a strong focus on compliance and treatment outcomes. Certified as a Case Manager by the Florida Certification Board, Latoya is skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapeutic mentoring to guide clients toward recovery.
Latoya’s dedication to her profession is complemented by her academic achievements, including a Master of Science in Social Work and a certification in Substance Abuse Addiction Counseling. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology, she continues to expand her knowledge to better serve her clients. With her empathetic nature, extensive training, and unwavering commitment, Latoya has made a significant impact on the lives of those she serves, empowering them to achieve a better quality of life.
