Frank Weitekamp, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. He has a Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages and Literature from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
He believes in assessment and treatment through a holistic approach. He received training in Cognitive Therapy through the Mental Health Association of Central Florida, working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges alongside co-occurring medical conditions.
He practices from a strengths-based empowerment model, believing that every individual can achieve the goals they set for themselves by drawing on their unique strengths, personal characteristics, and cultural background. He partners with clients using evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, to support growth and healing.
He is passionate about helping clients begin and continue their journey toward improved emotional, mental, and physical well-being.
