Ms. Gillett-Chambers has cared for individuals across a remarkably diverse range of settings throughout her career. She has worked as a travel nurse in high-security forensic psychiatric care at Colorado Mental Health Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado, and at Arizona State Prison in Tucson, managing acute psychiatric crises and dual-diagnosis conditions among incarcerated populations. She has also provided inpatient psychiatric care at Henderson Behavioral Health in Lauderdale Lakes and HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, where she assisted with ECT procedures and performed withdrawal management assessments. In addition, she spent several years as a psychiatric nurse at Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center supporting medication-assisted treatment programs including Suboxone and Methadone.
Ms. Gillett-Chambers believes that meaningful mental health care begins with listening and developing a trusting relationship with each patient. She takes the time to understand the individual behind the diagnosis and works collaboratively with patients to develop treatment approaches that reflect their needs, concerns, and personal goals. Her background in both medical and behavioral health nursing has shaped her holistic approach to care and strengthened her appreciation for the connection between physical and mental well-being, and she strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and comfortable taking an active role in their mental health journey.
