Cori Walker, RCSWI is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern dedicated to supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges with compassion and authenticity. As a Florida native, she brings a warm, welcoming presence to her work and is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable taking the first steps toward healing and growth.
Cori earned her Master of Social Work from the University of West Florida and her Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University. Her clinical training includes experience in both school and behavioral health settings, where she has worked closely with at-risk youth, young adults, and families. She has also gained valuable experience supporting individuals navigating substance use and recovery across various levels of care.
Her clinical experience includes conducting psychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating group therapy, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, client-centered care. Cori has worked in environments that emphasize evidence-based practices and holistic treatment approaches, allowing her to effectively support clients with a wide range of mental health and behavioral concerns.
Cori’s therapeutic approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and strengths-based. She believes therapy is a partnership and strives to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. With a focus on empathy, trust, and personal growth, Cori works alongside her clients to help them build resilience, gain insight, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
