Amanda Degee is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is licensed to treat across the lifespan including children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. She has over 15 years of clinical experience in both medical and behavioral health. She is experienced in acute and crisis care, alcohol and substance abuse, and chronic mental health conditions.
Amanda attended Valencia Community College in Orlando where she received her Associate in Nursing, her Bachelor of Nursing through Ohio University, and earned her Master of Nursing in Psychiatry at Eastern Kentucky University.
Amanda is excited to apply her experience and compassion with clients as they begin treatment that will help them to improve their quality of life and attain a sense of fulfillment. She understands the importance of developing a sense of comfort and trust through understanding, support, and honest communication to meet the needs and desired outcomes of each individual. She serves her community volunteering as a Girl Scout leader for the past 7 years and has a big love for photography.
