Samantha Amabile, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor committed to providing compassionate, individualized, and high-quality care to clients across a variety of ages and backgrounds. She brings a dynamic, evidence-based approach to therapy, with particular strength in crisis management, safety planning, and designing effective treatment plans that meet each client where they are.
Samantha earned her Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she completed her internship working within residential and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs. She holds an LMHC license in the state of Florida and has developed broad clinical training across CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
Since moving to Florida, Samantha has worked with clients ranging from children to older adults across a variety of treatment settings. As a Clinician at Pasadena Villa Outpatient in Tampa, she provided crisis intervention services, including emergency evaluation, safety planning, and risk assessment, and conducted individual, family, and group therapy sessions at the PHP and IOP levels while collaborating closely with psychiatrists on medication management. Previously, she worked as a Master’s Level Clinician with ClearPath Health, providing individual and family therapy, and as a Master’s Level Therapist with CASA Pinellas in partnership with ClearPath Health, where she provided individual and family sessions supporting survivors of domestic violence.
Samantha utilizes an eclectic, evidence-based approach tailored to each client’s unique story, experiences, and circumstances. She does not believe therapy is a one-size-fits-all process and instead works collaboratively with each client to understand what feels most meaningful and which therapeutic approaches are most effective for them. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance use, couples and family concerns, and support for women, and survivors of domestic violence.
Samantha strives to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, understood, and supported. She views therapy as a collaborative journey and looks forward to working alongside each client to build insight, develop effective coping skills, and work toward the goals that matter most to them. Originally from the Middle Tennessee area, Samantha most recently called Nashville home before making Florida her new home. Outside the office, she enjoys sunshine, time on the water, exploring different parts of Florida, and time with her new Shih Tzu puppy, Rusty.
