Noreen Haq, RMHCI is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and National Certified Counselor dedicated to providing holistic, culturally responsive care that supports both mental and physical well-being. She earned her Master of Science and Education Specialist degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida State University, along with dual bachelor’s degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Psychology from the University of South Florida. Noreen is committed to empowering individuals and communities through accessible, strengths-based mental health care.
With over three years of clinical experience, Noreen has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across a variety of settings, including private practice, schools, community health centers, and behavioral health hospitals. Her experience includes conducting comprehensive assessments, facilitating individual and group therapy, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support diverse client needs.
Noreen’s therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and collaboration. She integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She is particularly skilled in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, burnout, identity development, and relationship challenges.
She believes in fostering a safe, supportive therapeutic environment built on trust, respect, and authenticity. Noreen works collaboratively with clients to reduce barriers, build resilience, and promote meaningful, lasting change. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys staying active, exploring new foods, and engaging in creative and recreational activities with loved ones.
