Dr. Kennedy recently moved from Charlotte North Carolina to the northern Virginia area. She specializes in neuro-developmental disorders and has worked with children and adults who have behavioral challenges. Developing emotional regulation skills and learning appropriate ways to have needs met is an important therapeutic goal.

Dr. Kennedy has also worked for the school system and has worked with students with learning challenges, intellectual disabilities, and emotional disabilities. She has extensive experience conducting Functional Behavioral assessments and Psycho-educational assessments. Dr. Kennedy also worked with an interdisciplinary team to provide structured social skills and executive functioning groups.
