Dr. Kelly Huffman is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She began her career with her Bachelor of Science in Communications from Arizona State University and entered healthcare consulting until nursing drew her attention. She then went back to school and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mt. St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles, California. She then completed her ARNP at Northern Illinois University in 2013 in Chicago, Illinois. She then received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2020 from Abilene Christian University.

During the entire time studying, she worked in many roles as a nurse and as a provider since 2014 working with individuals of all ages in internal medicine and mental health. She received her specialization in a post-master’s program from Maryville University and continued to work to bring comfort, sound reasoning, and care to all individuals needing mental health support. She strives to dedicate compassion and empathy to each patient while meeting them right where they are every time.

In her off time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and time on or near the water.
