Frances Bernasko, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is an experienced and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse specializing in primary care, family medicine, psychiatry, and addiction medicine. She holds dual certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), allowing her to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across all age groups. Frances earned her RN-BSN from Florida Atlantic University, an MSN-APRN-FNP from Nova Southeastern University, and a Post-Graduate PMHNP Certificate from Ohio University. Frances has extensive experience serving diverse and underserved populations, managing psychiatric emergencies, conducting thorough psychiatric assessments, and providing evidence-based psychopharmacological treatment. She has worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including The Refuge A Healing Place, Beach House Center for Recovery, Balance Wellbeing, LLC, and CVS Health – MinuteClinic. Her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner at CVS Health further strengthened her expertise in primary and urgent care, where she managed chronic health conditions, formulated diagnoses, and promoted disease prevention.
