Frances Bernasko, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is an experienced and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse specializing in primary care, family medicine, psychiatry, and addiction medicine. She holds dual certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), allowing her to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across all age groups. Frances earned her RN-BSN from Florida Atlantic University, an MSN-APRN-FNP from Nova Southeastern University, and a Post-Graduate PMHNP Certificate from Ohio University. Her dedication to lifelong learning is reflected in her additional SMQT and QIS certifications, as well as her membership in the Golden Key Honor Society.

Frances has extensive experience serving diverse and underserved populations, managing psychiatric emergencies, conducting thorough psychiatric assessments, and providing evidence-based psychopharmacological treatment. She has worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including The Refuge A Healing Place, Beach House Center for Recovery, Balance Wellbeing, LLC, and CVS Health – MinuteClinic. Her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner at CVS Health further strengthened her expertise in primary and urgent care, where she managed chronic health conditions, formulated diagnoses, and promoted disease prevention.
