Crystal Jones is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from St. John’s University and her Master’s in Social Work from Howard University with a concentration in Displaced Populations.
She has specialized in working with persons and their families with severe and persistent mental illness, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorders. She has worked in a variety of settings, from hospitals and nursing homes to homeless shelters and county jails.
Crystal utilizes evidence-based interventions of cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. She focuses on empathetic listening while engaging in strength-based and empowerment models.
She has committed her personal goals to assist in fundraising endeavors, including multiple 5K races. Most recently, she completed the Susan G. Komen 60-mile walk for breast cancer research.
