Ashley LaRose became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2018. She is certified as a Qualified Supervisor for registered interns seeking licensure in the state of Florida. Ashley graduated from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. with her Bachelor of Science in Social Work in 2009. She then completed her Master’s degree in Social Work in 2011 from Walla Walla University in Missoula, MT.
Ashley has worked with clients of all ages including children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population. She has worked in both outpatient counseling and inpatient settings for substance use and crisis intervention. Ashley helps clients identify their strengths and build positive coping skills including working on communication skills, improving emotional regulation, anger management, relaxation skills, and building positive self-esteem. Ashley has a strong desire to help clients discover themselves, heal their hurts, and build a better future through providing client-centered counseling services using strategies from cognitive behavioral therapy, solutions-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed care.
In her personal time, Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is an animal lover and enjoys taking her dogs on outings and exploring nature. Some of her hobbies include traveling, visiting theme parks, riding roller coasters, trying new restaurants or recipes, and working on projects around the house with her husband.
