Amanda Degee is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is licensed to treat across the lifespan.
Amanda attended Valencia Community College in Orlando where she received her associate degree in nursing. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) through Ohio University in Athens, OH. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Psychiatry at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY.
Amanda is experienced in working with clients of varying ages including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. She has over 15 years of clinical experience in both the medical and behavioral health industry. She is experienced in acute crisis care, alcohol and substance abuse treatment, and chronic mental health conditions in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
Amanda is excited to apply her compassion, experience, and knowledge while working with clients as they begin treatment to help them improve their quality of life and attain a sense of fulfillment. She understands the importance of developing a sense of comfort and trust through understanding, support, and honest communication to help meet the needs and desired outcomes of each client. In her personal time, she has been involved in serving her community volunteering as a Girl Scout troop leader and enjoys hobbies including photography.
