Wesley Jones, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and has a strong clinical foundation in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. Wesley is committed to helping individuals improve their mental health and overall quality of life through evidence-based care and meaningful therapeutic relationships.
Wesley has extensive experience conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, providing medication management, and delivering psychotherapy for individuals across the lifespan. He treats a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and ADHD. His approach is individualized and collaborative, ensuring that each treatment plan aligns with the patient’s unique needs, goals, and life circumstances.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Wesley gained valuable experience working in inpatient psychiatric and detox settings and served in leadership roles, including as a charge nurse. He has also worked as a nurse navigator, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams and helping patients access appropriate levels of treatment. These experiences have strengthened his ability to manage complex cases and respond effectively in high-acuity situations.
During initial appointments, Wesley focuses on creating a supportive and understanding environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns. He conducts thorough assessments, provides clear education about diagnoses and treatment options, and collaborates with patients to develop personalized care plans, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
