Victoria D. Schmitt, DNP, ANP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is a dual board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health and Adult Health Nurse Practitioner with autonomous APRN licensure in Florida. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Tampa, graduating with Highest Honors and a 4.0 GPA. Schmitt also holds a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing and a Master of Science in Adult Health Nursing from the University of St. Francis in Illinois. A proud member of Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, she continues to exemplify academic and clinical excellence.
With more than two decades of nursing experience, Schmitt has practiced across psychiatric, primary care, palliative, and long-term care settings. She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan. Her clinical expertise includes the treatment of PTSD, ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders, and complex behavioral health conditions. She integrates innovative modalities such as pharmacogenomics, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs.
