Tamesha Nisebeth, LCSWI, MSW, is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern with over 19 years of experience supporting individuals across the mental health spectrum. She holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University, along with an Associate of Science from Suffolk County Community College. Tamesha has worked extensively in both New York and Florida in residential, outpatient, and state agency settings, including the Florida Department of Children and Families and the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.
Throughout her career, Tamesha has provided individualized counseling, led support groups, coordinated care plans, and facilitated crisis intervention services. Her areas of clinical focus include depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, relationship issues, and women’s mental health. She is skilled in utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Strength-Based approaches to guide clients through emotional challenges and toward sustainable growth.
Tamesha is known for creating a compassionate, culturally sensitive therapeutic environment that empowers clients to take charge of their emotional well-being. Her diverse background, blending Caribbean roots with American clinical experience, allows her to connect deeply with clients from various walks of life. She is dedicated to helping individuals recognize their inner strength, reframe negative thinking patterns, and cultivate resilience in pursuit of a more balanced, fulfilling life.
