Romelvi Medrano, LMHC, RMFT, is a board-certified therapist in the state of Florida. He received both a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling and a master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Couples Counseling at Stetson University.
Mr. Medrano has worked in outpatient clinics for multiple years. He started work at a community counseling site known as A New Perspective Counseling Center for his practicum and internship years during his graduate program. He would then transition to a private practice known as Pittington Counseling to complete the requirements to receive his licensure for Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is also in the process of obtaining his second license in Marriage, Family, and Couples Counseling.
Mr. Medrano has a strong sense of faith in his clients, and his approach to therapy encompasses that. He does what he can to ensure his clients understand the amount of control they have in their lives and shows them how to shape their world into what they want it to be. He shows his dedication to improvement through continuous diverse training, such as his certifications in Gottman couples therapy and Sand Tray therapy, in order to discover new ways to help his clients uncover their potential.
