Renee S. Blate is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 37+ years of experience in the field of mental health. Renee is a uniquely experienced clinician who obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida, where she graduated Magna Cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and then attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, obtaining her Master’s in Social Work.
From there, she began her career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, instructor, and supervisor, working in numerous positions including inpatient and outpatient counseling, community mental health, adolescent school counseling, and more – all while simultaneously maintaining a private practice providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families in Miami, Florida. Renee uses her uniquely eclectic, dynamic experience to employ holistic, spiritual, and evidence-based treatments. She works with her clients to help them make positive changes, heal, and focus on their strengths by utilizing a variety of techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness.
