Qushania Nesbitt, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC is a doctorate-prepared, dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering truly integrated, whole-person care. With nearly a decade of progressive clinical experience across psychiatric, addiction, primary care, and weight management settings, she is known for her strong clinical leadership and patient-centered approach. Dr. Nesbitt provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based practice while carefully considering the medical factors that may influence mental health.
In addition to her psychiatric expertise, Dr. Nesbitt manages a wide range of chronic medical conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity, endocrine concerns, and vitamin deficiencies. She also provides preventive care, acute illness management, and medically supervised weight management, including GLP-1 therapies when appropriate. Her dual certification allows her to bridge the gap between physical and mental health, enabling her to develop treatment plans that are medically sound, psychologically supportive, and tailored to each patient’s goals.
Dr. Nesbitt is the Founder and Clinical Director of Urbanzen Psychiatric & Medical Health Solutions in Brandon, Florida, where she leads clinical operations, develops treatment protocols, and mentors healthcare professionals. She also serves as an APRN provider with American Addiction Treatment (River Oaks Treatment Center), where she delivers integrated care across detoxification, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care. Her background includes earlier nursing experience with BayCare Health System across multiple high-acuity settings.
She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Touro University, her Post-Master’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate from Walden University, and her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from South University.
