Karly E. Hauser, PsyD, is a Clinical Psychologist with specialized training in neuropsychological, psychological, and psychoeducational assessment for adolescents and adults. Her Florida psychologist license is pending, with postdoctoral hours completed and the EPPP successfully passed. Dr. Hauser is dedicated to providing culturally competent, data-driven, and process-oriented evaluations that support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
Dr. Hauser earned her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University’s APA-accredited program. She completed her postdoctoral residency at Segel Psychological Center, where she conducted comprehensive assessments for learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and vocational aptitude for diverse populations. She also completed her predoctoral internship at Transformative Health Solutions, focusing on court-ordered assessments and therapy across outpatient, medical, and residential settings.
Her clinical experience includes extensive use of a broad range of psychological and neuropsychological assessment tools, as well as preparation of detailed, integrated reports and individualized feedback for clients, families, and referring providers. Dr. Hauser has worked with adolescents and adults presenting with neurodevelopmental conditions, serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and complex psychosocial needs. She is proficient in electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms, allowing for flexible and accessible care.
Dr. Hauser believes comprehensive assessment is a collaborative process that helps individuals better understand their strengths and challenges. She values clear communication, evidence-based practice, and a patient-centered approach that empowers clients to make informed decisions about their care. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Florida Psychoanalytic Center. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and exploring Fort Lauderdale’s local arts scene.
