Dr. John Young is a board certified psychiatrist who has been providing patient care for over 30 years. He completed his medical school education and psychiatry residency at West Virginia University. Upon completion of his residency, he receive a faculty appointment at WVU. He had a significant role in the training and supervision of medical students and psychiatry residents and promoted to Associate Professor. He relocated to Florida in 2014 and practiced inpatient psychiatry in New Port Richey until the hospital closed. He now primarily provides telepsychiatry assessments.
