Jason Folsomtrexler is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a rich background in psychiatric nursing and mental health care.  Jason began his career in mental health nursing after earning an Associate of Science Degree from Tallahassee Community College in 2014. He furthered his education with a Bachelor of Nursing degree from St. Petersburg College in 2018. His passion for psychiatric care led him to pursue a Master of Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the University of South Alabama, where he graduated in 2021. Jason was officially board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2022.

With over a decade of experience in the field, Jason has built a reputation for his compassionate approach and dedication to patient well-being. Jason has demonstrated a commitment to advancing mental health treatment through both clinical practice and continuous professional development. His expertise includes assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of psychiatric conditions and treats ages across the lifespan, with a focus on providing personalized and effective care. Jason is also actively involved in professional organizations related to psychiatric nursing and mental health, continually seeking to enhance his knowledge and contribute to the field.

Outside of his professional life, Jason enjoys spending time with his family and traveling the world so that he can experience what other cultures around the world are like, which he believes contributes to his holistic approach to mental health care.
