Elicia Greenspan’s passion to aid those in need led her to study Psychology at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 2005 and continued on to complete her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2009 at Indiana University School of Social Work.
Elicia then became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida in 2017 and has over 12 years of experience helping people in her career by providing counseling services. She has worked in community mental health centers, inpatient and outpatient counseling services.
I encourage my clients to identify their strengths and I want to make them feel supported and respected. I have helped people to develop coping strategies for dealing with complex problems. I like to utilize a variety of techniques in sessions such as CBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.
