Deborah L. LaPoint, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care across the lifespan. She currently serves as a Psychotherapist and brings over three decades of experience in mental health, addiction recovery, and social services. Deborah earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Maine, Orono, and has been licensed as an LCSW since 2008. Throughout her career, she has held roles ranging from clinical supervisor to agency co-owner, working across outpatient, residential, crisis stabilization, and community-based settings.
Deborah has developed expertise in treating a wide range of clinical concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, adjustment disorders, and co-occurring substance use issues. She incorporates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions. She has worked extensively with older adults, families, adolescents, and individuals facing complex behavioral and emotional challenges.
