Deborah Hewitt is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 20 years of professional experience. She earned a Master’s in Counseling from John Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland. Deborah has provided counseling and psychotherapy in a multitude of settings including residential treatment centers, hospitals, and outpatient programs. She has worked with children and adolescents, families, and adults.
Deborah helps her clients resolve problems and grow personally through Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution-Based Therapy. Her background includes developing an Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Program for at-risk youth, as well as an Intensive Outpatient Program for those struggling with addictions. She has a genuine concern for the well-being of her clients.
Deborah has resided in Florida for the past 14 years. Prior to Florida, she practiced in Maryland and the Washington, D.C. area.
