Carolyn Divers, LCSW, QS, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Qualified Supervisor for registered interns. Carolyn received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Columbia College in 2000 and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2008. Carolyn has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida since 2015, and has experience in the private practice setting, as well as in schools, healthcare facilities, and hospitals.
Carolyn has had the pleasure of treating clients of all ages, from young children to the older adult population. Whether you are just starting out in life trying to find your path forward, are firmly planted in adulthood wondering if better days are ahead, or are in the sunset stage of life looking back on a lifetime of memories and possibly unresolved issues, she is here to listen. Life is full of transitions and change, and she believes having someone to guide you when your path becomes unsteady is essential. Carolyn believes we all have the inherent ability to grow and change, and the strength we need to become our better selves is already within us. Carolyn utilizes a variety of clinical interventions in her practice including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. Carolyn believes we should all be living our best life, and therapy is a valuable tool to help achieve that goal.
In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys spending time at home with her family and animals. Carolyn enjoys watching the antics of her backyard flock of chickens and ducks, and relaxing with her dogs and cats. When not at home, Carolyn enjoys setting out on new adventures with her husband and making happy memories.
