Brenda L. Rosario-Santiago, Psy.D., is a Postdoctoral Psychologist committed to providing holistic, evidence-based care for adults facing a range of psychological challenges. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Carlos Albizu University, an APA-accredited program in San Juan, Puerto Rico, graduating with honors in 2017. She completed her clinical internship at San Juan Capistrano Hospital, where she gained extensive experience treating individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and complex trauma. She also received advanced training in the application of trauma-focused interventions during her doctoral studies.
Dr. Rosario-Santiago has significant clinical experience working in outpatient, inpatient, residential treatment centers (RTC), partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). She has served in key roles such as Lead Psychologist for the Orange County Mental Health Court system and as a Provisional Psychologist with attending duties for the Florida Department of Corrections. Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused modalities. She is also highly skilled in conducting psychological evaluations to guide diagnosis and treatment planning.
