Adil A. Mohammed, M.D., is a board-certified Psychiatrist in General Psychiatry, committed to providing the highest standards of care for a wide variety of clients with diverse needs. He received his medical degree from Saint Petersburg State Medical Academy. In 2010, he completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine Program, Bronx, New York. In August 2013, he completed Psychiatry Residency Training at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was involved in teaching medical students during his residency period. He has received an award for his scholarly achievement during his residency training.
Dr. Mohammed has many years of clinical experience working in Outpatient, Inpatient, and Consultation-Liaison settings. He has been the CEO and Medical Director of Harmony United Psychiatric Care since 2014. He had been on staff at several hospitals in Lake, Sumter, and Alachua County, including Leesburg Regional Hospital Center (LRMC), The Villages Regional Hospital (TVRH), and North Florida Regional Medical Center (NFRMC). He also served as the Medical Director of the Inpatient Behavioral Health Units at NFRMC and LRMC. He has extensive experience working with clients of all ages, especially the geriatric population, at outpatient clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
