Scott Berg has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2016. He graduated Cum laude with a BA in psychology from Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, FL. He received his Master of Social Work in Advanced Practice from Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, FL.
Scott has over a decade of experience serving residents of Lake and Sumter counties. He completed his clinical internship at Cornerstone Hospice where he provided respite care and bereavement groups. He has many years of experience in working with the elderly population, families, caregivers, and individuals dealing with life long and terminal illness through Hospice. Scott has also worked as an independent contractor for Central Florida Counseling and Psychological Services, where he has provided psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples counseling in dealing with many different mental health illnesses and navigating life’s difficulties including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, and grief.
Scott Berg’s psychotherapy approach is influenced by Eastern thought and traditions including meditation, mindfulness living, and staying in the present moment.
