"Rockelle Hartwell, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Rockelle is licensed to treat across the lifespan including children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population.
Rockelle earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Galen College of Nursing in St. Petersburg, Florida. She then graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Galen College of Nursing. She later received her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in psychiatry from Walden University, Minneapolis, MN graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Rockelle has 12 years of clinical nursing experience, more extensively in substance abuse/detox, corrections, long-term care, and inpatient/outpatient mental health. Rockelle’s passion for mental health grew while working as a mental health nurse and nursing supervisor in the correctional setting. Over the years, she began to supervise mental health units. She later became a Clinical Operations Specialist, then Regional Manager, which allowed her to oversee multiple Mental Health contracts in Florida and throughout the US. Her experience as a Mental Health nurse, supervisor, and Manager motivated her to promote mental health awareness and become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
In her spare time, she volunteers her time to at-risk children & adolescents throughout the Ocala & Gainesville area through youth sports and academic tutoring.
Rockelle has an empathetic and compassionate approach when providing care. She practices with respect for Holistic patient care. She is excited and honored to be a part of the Harmony team and is looking forward to providing her expertise to patients from across the lifespan."
