Catherine Neyer APRN, PMHNP-BC is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned an Associate of Science in Nursing and then a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Cincinnati, Ohio. She obtained a double master's degree in forensic nursing and criminal justice at Xavier University, Ohio. She finished her education with a post master's certificate as an advanced practice nurse at Northern Kentucky University. Catherine is a certified pediatric nurse, certified mental health psychiatric nurse, and a sexual assault nurse examiner.
Catherine has worked in a variety of settings including medical-surgical with adults and pediatrics, abuse and trauma services with adults and pediatrics, and mental health. She completed her clinical experience in addiction medicine, outpatient, partial hospitalization, and inpatient services. Catherine has been a nurse for 10 years with the last 5 in the mental health field. She is looking forward to bringing her extensive education and previous work with patients who have undergone a traumatic experience to the current patients that she serves. Catherine is compassionate and knowledgeable. She works well with clients and their families.
